2014-15 Adopted Budget
The Board of Trustees on Monday, April 21st adopted  the Tentative Budget for the 2014-15 Fiscal Year.  Please click on the link below to view the Adopted Budget along with the Budget Message from the Mayor.




Please be aware that the next General Election of the Village will be held on Friday, June 20, 2014 from 12 noon until 9:00pm at Village Hall.
The Mayor and 2 Trustee seats are up for election.
If anyone is interested in running for the positions, an Independent Nominating Petition must be filed with the Village Clerk by May 16th but not before May 9th.

Police Services
Please be aware that the Village Trustees, at their monthly meeting on September 16th, 2013 authorized Mayor Louchheim to sign a Supplemental Inter-Municipal Agreement with the Town of Southampton for increased Police Services.  The Village of Sagaponack will be a separate patrol area/territory under the Town Police Dept.  We will be receiving 24 hour coverage from May 15 through September 15 and 16 hour coverage from September 16 through May 14th.  The officers assigned to the Village will be consistent so as to develop and maintain a familiarity with the Village residents.

The Village Trustees would like to thank all those property owners who expressed an interest in this most important subject which helped them in their negotiations and final decision to continue with the Town.

Please be aware, that as of August 29, 2013, the Village's Local Law regulating Yard Sales became effective.  Please click below for the entire law.  The yard sale application for a permit can be found under the Forms tab to the right.

*****Seasonal Rentals*****
Please be aware that the Village of Sagaponack requires that a property owner obtain a Seasonal Rental permit if you rent your house between May 15th and September 15th. The rental can not be less then 30 days except that the law allows for 2 - 2 week rentals per calendar year.  This code can be found in the Village Code Book under 245-16 (A).  The seasonal rental form can be down loaded from the "Form" tab to the left.


2013-14 Village Property Tax Bills

The 2013-14 Village Property Tax Bills have been mailed and were payable by July 1st without penalty.  If your 2013-14 Village Property Tax bill remains unpaid there is a 5% penalty which has been assessed for the month of July.  Any open taxes after that will be assessed an additional 1% per month for every month the tax remains unpaid.  If you have prior years taxes still unpaid, please contact the Village Office at 631-537-0017 for the correct amount due.

Board Meeting

The Zoning Board of Appeals will meet on Friday, May 9th  at 4:00pm. 

Please note that all Planning Issues will be addressed by the Board of Trustees at 3:00pm at the beginning of their meeting agenda on the 2nd Monday of the month.
The Board of Trustees will hold a public meeting on Monday, May 12th at 3:00pm to discuss Village Planning Issues and  Work Session Items. 

The Board of Trustees will hold their monthly board meeting on Monday, May 19th at 4:00pm.
The Architectural and Historic Review Board will meet on Friday, May 16th at 3:30 am.
