Attention Residents of Sagaponack:

The Board of Trustees of the Village of Sagaponack would like to announce that the Village has taken ownership of 3175 Montauk Highway as of October 21st.

The Village held a public referendum on August 8, 2008 in which the voters approved the issuance of a $2 million bond for the purchase and renovation of  3175 Montauk Highway to be used as a Village Hall.   The property was purchased for $1,200,000 and the remaining $800,000 will be used to renovate the existing residential structure  to accommodate thirty people in a public meeting room and provide office and storage space for the Village Offices. The Board will decide within the next two weeks what renovations will be needed to accomplish this.
