Emergency Preparedness
As we enter the Hurricane Season, it is good to be prepared although we hope that we will not need to use any of the services. Remember to have a battery operated radio available. If an evacuation of your area is necessary, you will need to listen to the local radio station to verify which emergency shelters are open and what times they are opened. Shelters are opened based on the nature, severity of the emergency, and the number of residents to be impacted. Additional Emergency Preparedness information can be viewed on the Southampton Town Website on our Community Links tab to the left.
